DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY:
The department of history came into existence with the foundation of this college in 1970. The department worked as an undergraduate wing of this college until 2013, when the department began its Post Graduation Course.
Vision
We have a vision to contribute to the growth of education and upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
The department believe that the task of history is to open dialogue between past and present, History as a subject enable the students to develop necessary skills to evaluate and analyze the happenings of past. The knowledge of past societies and communities strengthen the insights of students in understanding and comprehending the conflicts of present.

He has joined the college faculty in the year 2017.
He completed his masters in the year 2012 from Dept. of Ancient History in the Panjab University Campus, Chandigarh.
